Teachers' Blog Teachers' Blog

Linked with the webinars organised for the project teachers, this blog will display teachers thoughts, plans, ideas and experience with tablets in classroom. After each webinar, the teachers will write a reflective post on the given topic. Along the course of the project, this blog will provide an interesting insight into day to day teaching with tablets.

Blog 6 - Teacher conclusions and recommendations - Athénée Léon Lepage

1. What did you find most challenging during the CCL project?

It was very challenging to discover and work with other working methods than usual. For example, the model of scenarios with which we had to work was extremely different from the way we create lessons in Belgium and our ideas needed to be adapted with this new model.

2. What was the biggst benefit of participating in the CCL project?

There were many excellent ideas, Apps, scenarios, etc. to discover. It's very reassuring to see other teachers in the world trying to maximize the benefits of new technologies in their class.

3. What have you been able to achieve? What are you most proud of?

I really appreciated the first scenario we had to achieve, it was complete and pupils liked the way we have accomplished all this lesson, including assessment.

4. How will you take the work forward? How will you disseminate your work to others?

I created a website about latin and greek and I added a new section about new technology that I want to improve and complete in the future.

5. 2 Top Tips for other teachers

  • Don't be afraid to try new things, pupils are always positive about new ways to teach, even if this doesn't work as you expected.
  • Search for places to exchange about what you do, it's the best way to find and improve your ideas of lessons.
