Teachers' Blog Teachers' Blog

Linked with the webinars organised for the project teachers, this blog will display teachers thoughts, plans, ideas and experience with tablets in classroom. After each webinar, the teachers will write a reflective post on the given topic. Along the course of the project, this blog will provide an interesting insight into day to day teaching with tablets.

Blog 6 - My experience with CCL

Give your response with an explanation and your reasons.

1. What did you find most challenging during the CCL project?

 The greatest challenges were:

·         how to make a scenario for collaboration and assessment in math during entire math-unit through all phases of learning process,

·         how to involve students in the phase of assessment,

·         how to encourage students for self-reflection.

2. What was the bigest benefit of participating in the CCL project?

To find some new approaches in assessment of collaborative work with tablets. To share ideas with other teachers.

3. What have you been able to achieve? What are you most proud of?

During this project I have learned many new aps for learning with tablets and many different ways to use tablets in all phases of learning process. I found tablets very useful for assessment and learning of learning. Students have more active roles during the lessons.

4. How will you take the work forward? How will you disseminate your work to others?

I am going to transfer my knowledge to other teachers in our school. But we decided to work with laptops. I already had a lecture on my learning scenario on an International conference of teaching and learning math KUPM last year. Our national team presented our work at the international conference SIRIKT.

5. 2 Top Tips for other teachers

Start with little steps, with a few aps and continue step by step. Before you start with lecture, write a detailed scenario and don’t forget on assessment.
