Teachers' Blog Teachers' Blog

Linked with the webinars organised for the project teachers, this blog will display teachers thoughts, plans, ideas and experience with tablets in classroom. After each webinar, the teachers will write a reflective post on the given topic. Along the course of the project, this blog will provide an interesting insight into day to day teaching with tablets.

Blog 6 My experience with CCL

Give your response with an explanation and your reasons.

1. What did you find most challenging during the CCL project?

Create lessons in function of the CCL scenarios. It wasn’t easy to implement the scenarios.

Unfortunately the collaboration scenario was a bummer. We moved to our new school which was promised to be fully equipped for the digital era. But it wasn’t ready. No internet connection, no digital school boards,.. this was our early exit.

2. What was the biggest benefit of participating in the CCL project?

New ways to work with the tablets.

3. What have you been able to achieve? What are you most proud of

A lot of teachers were very sceptical about the tablet-project at school. Now most of them are very positive and enthusiastic to try new things. My colleagues have become a little bit tablet-minded since the start.

4. How will you take the work forward? How will you disseminate your work to others?

We’ll create (a small tablet-work group at school) a short guide with do’s and don’ts for the teachers. Short scenarios, useful apps,.. all of that will be in the tablet-guide.

We also need to keep supporting the teachers, keep experimenting with apps, scenarios, ideas,.. the first steps are lying behind us, it’s time to get in shape for a marathon.

5. 2 Top Tips for other teachers

Just do it! Every challenge is worth it.
