Teachers' Blog Teachers' Blog

Linked with the webinars organised for the project teachers, this blog will display teachers thoughts, plans, ideas and experience with tablets in classroom. After each webinar, the teachers will write a reflective post on the given topic. Along the course of the project, this blog will provide an interesting insight into day to day teaching with tablets.

1. What did you find most challenging during the CCL project?

The most challenging issues have been: (1) the new way of teaching and learning; (2) longer preparation for the lessons; (3) technological issues; (4) new approach for students - more independence; (5) innovative scenarios instead of traditional leasson plans

2. What was the biggest benefit of participating in the CCL project?

For the first time, we have implemented fully personalised scenarios and activities based on different students' learning styles. We used different teaching and learning methods. We also used a lot of apps to enhance learning. Furthemore, outdoor activities were useful because of other kind of learning environment

3. What have you been able to achieve? What are you most proud of?

We are proud of fully personalised 1:1 approach implemented for the first time in Lithuania. We also proud of suitable learning paths based on profound and properly composed learning methods

4. How will you take the work forward? How will you disseminate your work to others?

We are preparing a new interactive CCL ibook incl. all the scenarios, methods, learning styles, apps etc. and thus generalising our experience. All CCL schools together with the best iTEC and LSL schools joined into qualitatively new Intelligent Future School network to implement new research results on using intelligent technologies and methods to improve learning

5. 2 Top Tips for other teachers

Use problem solving instead of curriculum topics

Use proper sequences of activities and technologies according to students' individual preferences
