Teachers' Blog Teachers' Blog

Linked with the webinars organised for the project teachers, this blog will display teachers thoughts, plans, ideas and experience with tablets in classroom. After each webinar, the teachers will write a reflective post on the given topic. Along the course of the project, this blog will provide an interesting insight into day to day teaching with tablets.

Collaboration and assessment - ISIS Malignani Italia (Associate School)

1. Briefly outline the overall aims of your scenario and share important definitions for the key parts. The main aims of my CCL scenario are..

Students in their daily work have to make technical drawings of some mechanical parts which are found in aircraft structures. It would be important to draw a complex assembly in order to feel the need to organize all the drawings in a rational manner, like professionals do. An individual could take years to complete a large drawing assembly along with its components but the task can be accomplished in months by collaborating groups.

2. In the second Learning Scenario, I plan to... make students to draw an entire aircraft structure using 3D CAD software with students working in groups of 4-5 members.

3. I would like my students to produce a 3D vritual aircraft structure, with animations showing the assembly procedure.

4. This year I am going to try the following ideas (and apps) that are new to me/ my students...Tablets for google search of aircraft structure pictures, using TeamUp web software for work planning and recording. It wil be explored the AR (Augmented Reality) to be used on mobile devices.
