Teachers' Blog Teachers' Blog

Linked with the webinars organised for the project teachers, this blog will display teachers thoughts, plans, ideas and experience with tablets in classroom. After each webinar, the teachers will write a reflective post on the given topic. Along the course of the project, this blog will provide an interesting insight into day to day teaching with tablets.

AR Ans - Blog Entry 5 - Sharing Ideas on CCL scenario 2

 1. Briefly outline the overall aims of your scenario and share important definitions for the key parts. The main aims of my CCL scenario are..

  • Using tablets as a tool to improve communication and collaboration between schools, even if they are far from each others.
  • Sharing contents, knowledge, feelings about learning easily.

2. In the second Learning Scenario, I plan to...

  • AR Ans Students plan to build a Weebly website to share their feelings about literature with ICT Charleroi students. They also would like to challenge others with quiz, games,… (built online)
  •  Latin students in our school plan to keep on the Weebly website started last year about « Ancient Culture ». They want to collaborate with another school by making videos explaining what they’ve learnt.

3. I would really like my students to ...

  • Enjoy writing literature review and share their ideas about books they’ve read. Making trailers to convince other students to read a book they enjoyed.
  • Be autonomous in using tablets in the way they want to learn. Choosing the app/website that suit them to improve.

4. This year I am going to try the following ideas (and apps) that are new to me/ my students... Not really new apps for the teacher but earlier for the students:

  • iiMovie, Explain Everything, Bookcreator, Google Hangout/Skype, Comiclife, Google Doc, learningapps.org, Weebly, Thinglink, Tellagami, Morfo
