The Creative Classrooms Lab project is led by European Schoolnet, a public-sector consortium funded by 30 education ministries and supported by the European Commission. Its office with some 60 staff in Brussels serves the needs of education policy-makers and researchers, schools and suppliers. Its activities are determined by the needs of the Ministries of Education, the European Commission, and industrial partners, including companies from the publishing and ICT industries.

Direção-Geral da Educação (DGE) is the Directorate-General for Education of the Portuguese Ministry of Education and Science. DGE’s specific remit is to make sure that national policies are implemented regarding the pedagogical and didactic components of pre-school, primary, lower and upper secondary education, as well as the provision of education for children not attending school. It gives technical support to their design and at the same time evaluates their implementation. It coordinates the exam planning activities. A specific team within DGE is in charge of fostering the effective use of computers and the Internet by all educational agents (students and teachers alike) and is a partner in several EUN projects, namely eSkills Week, iTEC, eTwinning, eSafety, CPDLab, among others.
Centre of Information Technologies in Education (CITE / ITC)

ITC is a governmental organisation under the Ministry of Education and Science of Lithuania responsible for implementation of strategies and programmes for ICT. ITC was founded in 1991 and re-organised in 2000. ITC actions are focused on several areas, for example on coordination of national strategies and programmes on ICT implementation in education; initiation and coordination of international cooperation on ICT implementation in education; and development, accumulation and dissemination of digital educational content and services.

The National Education Institute – NEI (Zavod RS za šolstvo) was founded in 1954 and today it is a national authority which performs research and development tasks by linking theory and practice in the field of education.The basic goals of the institute are: designing new curricula for the education system; development and implementation of suitable solutions for individual levels of the system and within subjects and subject areas; development of standards of achievement; monitoring and testing the results of these solutions; introduction of tested new methods; evaluation of the changes; professional development of teachers; implementation of the goals promoted by the European Union, the Council of Europe, UNESCO, OECD and others.

The Federal Ministry of Education and Women's Affairs (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Frauen, BMBF) is responsible for the Austrian school system, women’s affairs and gender equality. It is is responsible for among other things support for classes and thematic educational issues and new technologies and multimedia applications for the use in education. It maintains the ViS:AT plattform (Virtual School Austria) which ensures the quality of resources for pupils, teachers and adults on the Internet. It provides e-training services to teachers in formal, informal and non-formal self-regulated education with new technologies.

DZS - Centre for International Services is an organization that has been directly established by the Czech Ministry of Education. It is responsible for European cooperation within the field of ICT in education and for administering a number of European educational programmes in the Czech Republic. The National Agency for European Educational Programmes (NAEP), which is responsible for implementation of the Lifelong Learning Programme, is a part of DZS, as is the Czech National eTwinning Support Service.
Flemish Ministry of Education

The Flemish Ministry of Education & Training is the public body responsible for the recognition, the funding and the quality assurance of schools in Flanders. The Education & Training Department supports the Minister by providing strategic advice, policy evaluation and regulations. The Department has expertise in bringing schools together and supporting them as expert networks. Between 1998 and 2008 the Department organized the Flemish part of the European Network of innovative Schools (ENIS). The network developed pedagogical innovation projects through peer learning and results were validated and widely disseminated to the broader educational field.

The federation Wallonie Bruxelles will be involved in the CCL project via the Ministry in charge of education in the French speaking community of Belgium. More particularly, the cooperation will take place with the general administration for teaching and scientific research.

The e-Learning Foundation is a registered education charity, founded in 2000, whose aim is for every child in the UK to have access to the learning technologies they need, when and where they need them. It have worked with over 1,000 schools to create fully inclusive and financially sustainable programmes that provide an environment where children have personal access to a device, the ability to access the Internet at home as well as at school, high quality content, and support from their teachers and family. Key activities are to: provide free advice to schools; help them achieve financial sustainability; and give support to families on home use of educational technology. The organisation has been contracted by the Department for Education and Becta over several years on 1:1 provision and Home Access programmes.
Istituto Nazionale di Documentazione, Innovazione e Ricerca Educativa (INDIRE)

INDIRE (Istituto Nazionale di Documentazione, Innovazione e Ricerca Educativa) is a public institution with administrative, financial and accounting autonomy, operating at national level, under the supervision of the Italian Ministry of Education. INDIRE collaborates with the Italian Ministry of Education in the management of EU programs, projects and initiatives including European Schoolnet. The agency manages the Italian Lifelong Learning agency and the Italian Eurydice Unit and has represented Italy in several European projects.
